Pacifica Netrunner

How this card works

Pacifica Netrunner is a lockdown card. On play, if your Street Cred is an even number, a rival Unit can't ready until your next turn. With 1 power for 4 Eddies, it will lose almost every fight. The effect does not spend the Unit itself, so a target that was ready can still attack or block once before it gets stuck spent.

You can steer the parity with dice. The Spend on Muamar Reyes: El Capitán adjusts a Gig by exactly 1, which flips odd and even. Memory Relapse does the job by itself for 4 Eddies: it spends a rival Unit, stops it readying, and draws a card on even Street Cred.

The FAQ says you must still choose a rival Unit even when the total is odd; the effect simply does nothing then. An empty Gig area gives Null Street Cred, which is neither even nor odd.
