Maman Brigitte: Spirit of Death

How this card works

Maman Brigitte is removal, not a fighter. When you play her, you may discard 2 Programs; if you do, bottom-deck a rival Unit that has no Gear equipped. She costs 5 Eddies, her 3 power still steals one Gig on attack, and her 4 Blue RAM requires two Blue Legends.

The ruling is strict: discard exactly 2 or none - you can't discard one to try. The other limit is 'unequipped': a single Gear makes the target safe. That's why Detonate (1 Eddie, defeat a rival Gear with power 2 or less) fits alongside her, though it needs Red RAM.

Placide: Voodoo Sentinel runs the same engine for fewer cards: it needs only one Program, and it works on attack as well as on play.
