Offduty Malfini

How this card works

Offduty Malfini is a setup Unit. When you play it, you spend both Malfini and a rival Unit. The rival Unit is now a valid attack target, while Malfini would not have attacked this turn anyway because of Lag. You pay 4 Eddies for 5 power.

Follow up on the spent target. Overwatch: Panam's Gift can defeat a spent rival Unit whose cost is no more than the card you discard, and Wild in the Streets defeats any spent Unit for 5 Eddies. Or simply attack it with any larger Unit you already have ready.

The FAQ notes you must spend Malfini even if your rival has no Units. Since it stays spent into your rival's turn, expect it to become an easy target itself.
