Panam Palmer: Strength Through Family
Card text
Playable in Go Solo
During your turn, you may Call a Legend for free.
Attack Discard 1. If you do, draw 1 for each friendly face-up Legend.
How this card works
This Panam earns her keep through tempo. During your turn you may Call a Legend for free, and each time she attacks you discard 1 to draw 1 for each friendly face-up Legend. With three face-up, that is one card in for three out. As a body, 6 power for 6 Eddies steals one Gig and fights evenly.
Turning Legends face-up quickly pays off elsewhere too. Goro Takemura: Losing His Way gets +5 power when it attacks if all your Legends are face-up, and Synapse Burnout costs 1 Eddie to give a Unit +1 power per face-up Legend while fighting rival Units.
The FAQ closes the obvious loophole: the free Call is not an extra Call in the turn, so if you have already called one, Panam adds nothing. Discarding is the condition for drawing, so with an empty hand her Attack effect does nothing. She needs 4 Green RAM.
