Viktor Vektor: Drop Your Illusions

How this card works

This Viktor is a cost reducer with a body. Your first CYBERWARE Gear each turn costs 3 Eddies less, down to 1 Eddie, and the 5-Eddie, 5-power frame can still steal a Gig.

It shines on expensive pieces: Gorilla Arms drops from 4 Eddies to 1, The Relic: Experimental Biochip from 5 to 2. A Gear that already costs 1 gets nothing, since 1 Eddie is the floor.

The discount is mandatory - you can't pay full price - and it also applies on the rival's turn if you have a way to play Gear then. The printed cost is unchanged, so effects that compare a Gear's cost with a Gig still see Gorilla Arms as a 4.
