How this card works

Unlikely Bond costs 4 Eddies and trades Units: bottom-deck one of your ready Units, and if you do, bottom-deck a spent rival Unit. Your Unit must be ready and theirs spent, so the usual target is something that just attacked. Blue RAM 2 lets most Blue decks run it.

Per the ruling, you still give up your own Unit even when the Rival has none to lose, so check the board first. Bottom-decking skips the trash, so neither side gets Defeated triggers or trash recursion out of it.

Feed it Units that stay ready anyway. Misty Olszewski: Mender of Broken Spirits can't attack, so she is usually ready and has done her work by the time you trade her. Corpo Security costs 2 Eddies, can't attack and holds Blocker - cheap to give up once it has done its job.
