How this card works

With 2 power for 3 Eddies this Unit is a poor attacker. It is built to defend. Blocker lets you spend it to redirect a rival Unit's attack to itself, and each time it does, a Rival discards a card. Even if it dies in the fight, you kept your Gig and cost your Rival a card.

Blocking spends the Unit, so equip Gear that pays off when it is spent. NetWatch Netdriver draws a card. Arasaka Emergency Radioport lets you look at a face-down Legend and Call it for free if it is ARASAKA or has Go Solo.

The FAQ confirms you can block even when your Rival's hand is empty; the discard just does nothing. Blocker works the turn the Unit is played, but it must be ready, and a Unit that is itself being attacked cannot block for itself. It needs 1 Yellow RAM.
