How this card works

Vengeful Bodyguard has no cost, so it never goes to the field. It stays in your Legends area as a defensive tool. Pay 1 Eddie and spend it to give a friendly Unit with cost 4 or less Blocker this turn; if you control a value-pair of Gigs, that Unit also gets +1 power. Because the ability has Quick, you can use it on your Rival's turn in response to an attack, and a Unit given Blocker in the React step can block right away.

The second line pays you for blocking. Whenever a friendly Unit uses Blocker - even if the keyword came from another card - you may discard 1 to draw 1. The discard is optional, which matters: with an empty deck, discarding forces a draw and you lose.

Peace Offering (1 Eddie) can set up the value-pair by copying one Gig's value onto another. His ability works on both players' turns, so flip him early.
