Arasaka Emergency Radioport

Card text

Playable in Go Solo

(Equip to a friendly Unit or face-up Legend.)
When this Unit or Legend is spent, you may look at a friendly face-down Legend. If that Legend is ARASAKA or has Go Solo, you may Call it for free. (You may only Call a Legend once per turn.)

How this card works

Calling a Legend usually costs 1 Eddie and is a blind flip. With this Gear, whenever the equipped Unit or Legend is spent, you may look at one of your face-down Legends. If it is ARASAKA or has Go Solo, you may Call it for free. The Gear also adds +2 power for 2 Eddies.

Put it on something you spend every turn. Dexter DeShawn: Off the Grid sits in the Legends area and spends to increase a Gig by up to 2, so the look comes with no extra cost. Adam Smasher: Ender of Legends is the ideal target, being both ARASAKA and Go Solo.

You can still Call a Legend only once per turn, and that includes your normal Main phase Call. The FAQ confirms that when the Unit is spent to attack, you can Call before its Attack effect resolves.
